Lian van der Gang is a medical doctor and PhD candidate at the Department of Dermatology and Allergology at the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Netherlands. She obtained her MD from the University of Groningen.<br><br>She is part of the BioDay research team, a national prospective registry focused on targeted systemic therapies for atopic dermatitis.<br><br>Her research focuses on real-world evidence in atopic dermatitis, with a special interest in the effectiveness, safety, and treatment patterns of biologics and JAK inhibitors in daily clinical practice. <br><br>She is currently working on her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Marjolein de Bruin-Weller, Prof. Marie-Louise Schuttelaar, Dr. Inge Haeck, and Dr. Marlies de Graaf.<br><br>In addition to her research activities, she is actively involved in patient care, and committed to integrating clinical research with dermatological practice.
