I am the Chief of the Allergy Center and team leader of the Medical Support Center of Japan Environment and Children’s Study (JECS) at the National Center for Child Health and Development (NCCHD, National Children’s Hospital) in Tokyo, Japan, collaborating with Dr. Yukihiro Ohya.<br><br>I completed the pediatric residency program and allergy fellowship program at NCCHD in Tokyo, Japan. I am a board-certified pediatrician (faculty of Japan Pediatric Society) and board-certified allergist (faculty of Japanese Society of Allergology). I obtained Ph.D. degree at the Department of Health and Psychosocial Medicine, Aichi Medical School, Aichi, Japan. I am a member of the Allergy Prevention Committee of World Allergy Organization. My research interests are epidemiology, environmental health, allergy prevention, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, FPIES, and behavioral science. I have engaged in birth cohorts (JECS, T-Child Study), RCTs (PETIT, PACI, TOY, PAF, and KITTY Studies), and clinical studies. I have more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and books.
