Axel Svedbom is a researcher at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. He has 15 years of experience in epidemiological research in both academia and the pharmaceutical industry. Predominantly focusing on dermatology and metabolic diseases, Dr Svedbom has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles, including registry studies on psoriasis published in JAMA Dermatology, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Journal of Investigative Dermatology. He is a member of the steering committee of the SWEDish quality register for Atopic Dermatitis (SWEDAD) and the editorial board of Osteoporosis International. He is also an associate editor of the British Journal of Dermatology.
