I am a senior physician at the Department of Dermatology at the University Hospital Zurich and I hold a PhD degree in clinical research. My area of expertise is in dermatological oncology, including prevention and management of skin cancer, as well as in clinical and translational research.<br>I have worked as an investigator in phase 1 to 3 clinical trials that have led to the approval of state-ofthe-art medicines in skin cancer. In September 2020, I was awarded a funded fellowship in medical oncology, immuno-oncology and clinical research at the Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA), a worldleading center for skin cancer research. During this time, I was able to further apply my knowledge in the field of clinical research and establish research collaborations in a global scientific network.<br>Since August 2021, I serve as a senior physician in the division of dermatooncology at the University Hospital of Zurich. I work on an interdisciplinary basis closely with colleagues in plastic surgery, radiooncology, medical oncology and nuclear medicine for the management of complex skin cancer patients.<br>My interest in this field has led to a significant contribution in research activities . I have presented my work in international congresses, such as the Society of Melanoma Research (SMR), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO). I have received several awards for my clinical research, such as the Georg Friedrich Götz Award of the University of Zurich, the Swiss Skin Cancer Award 2022, the SAKK/Pfizer Award 2021, and the ESMO Poster Award 2021 for the best poster in melanoma and other skin cancers.
