Luise Rauer的专业背景是什么?
Luise Rauer strives to bridge the gap between microbiome research and its clinical applications. While studying human biology and public health, she was always interested in the intricate interactions between humans and their environment and in learning statistical methods to unravel these interactions. She currently combines these interests in her PhD project in the Bioinformatics unit at Environmental Medicine at the Technical University of Munich, Helmholtz Munich, and the University of Augsburg, Germany. <br>In her doctoral research, Luise is developing computational methods to correct biases in microbiome data, aiming to increase the reproducibility and reliability of microbiome-disease associations. She applies these methods to challenging low-biomass microbiome samples, such as from the skin in atopic dermatitis. Luise is particularly interested in intuitive data visualization and the implementation of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles, endeavoring to sustainable and communicable research.
